P5B-E default cpu voltage

I have a lot of vdroop on my board it seems. I was wondering if anyone knew what the default cpu voltage is. I am wanting to try a bit higher for a better overclock.
I have it set to almost 1.48 volts and the pc probe that it comes with says 1.37 volts, and cpu-z says something similar. Bios reports 1.408.

There's no set vcore for most C2Ds, but it seems they are usually around 1.325-1.35V max.

At stock speeds, you can run 1.25V usually though (undervolted).

Vdroop is pretty bad on the P5B-E though; Asus PC Probe is generally relatively accurate.

Is Asus PC probe accurate for temp readings? It reads about 7 degrees hotter than TAT. up to 63 with probe, but tat only goes up to about 54 (both max).

1) Difference between what u set in bios & what 's reported in asus probe is vdroop. at low clocks & voltages there isn't much difference but as voltage increases so does the difference. Ignore CPU-Z for voltage it's way off base.

2) For best core temps use Core Temp pc probe doesn't use the core heat sensors like tat & core temp, so is usually a little off, mor like a time lag than a big temp gap, on my rig anyway.
