Interesting, I've seen that silly "strap" talk before, however all the information is deprecated as of the 609+ BIOS, which is correctly stable within the 350 to 400 MHz range.

Nope, it wasn't fixed. That was something else and was only in the 395-399 range.

Well, it seems fixed on my system, in fact I'm now running at 389x9, and lower settings within the 350 MHz to 400 MHz range are stable as well (and higher settings if I drop my multiplier...9x400 makes it pretty unhappy though). Before the BIOS flash, the system wouldn't even POST at these settings.

Well the BIOS notes clearly state only 395-399 were fixed. How accurate those notes are is anybodies guess. In any case, the bandwidth drop going from 400>401 is still there, and this can potentially help people with problems in that range (which I was one of)
