Ok, I'm totally new at most of this so bear with me. I got everything installed and hooked up. My mb is a ECS P4VXASD2+. I turned on the power expecting it to POST and go to the Bios page. Instead I get no output on the screen and three beeps. What do the three beeps mean in terms of what I did wrong? I checked the ECS website and manual and got no help. Anybody know?

You might want to check that your video card is sitting correctly in its slot.

It's seated right. All I get is a blank screen and the continuous three beeps. Any other ideas?

make sure you have your jumper settings right for the memory. DDR ram uses 2.5V and SDRAM using 3V i think.. so you have to change the jumper that is located between the 2 sets of DIMM slots and all those ugly jumpers on the top right hand side of the board

I have the same problem. my monitor doesn't get a signal, but i don't get any beeps at all. i checked all the jumpers, and made sure the video card was in there all the way, but it still won't work. does anyone know wtf is going on with it?

Try booting with 100 mhz bus. Guarantee it works. This board is supposed to work with a 133fsb but it only seems to boot at 100 for everyone.

Mine runs most things @ 133 FSB without rebooting. It does, however, reboot when playing Age of Mythology. I think I'm going to need to take it back to 100 for the next couple weeks, when I don't have school.

Does anyone know if it's the heat that causes it to reboot? Or does it reboot for other reasons?

Anyone know of a good deal on a mobo that will support my P4 2.4? I'm talking like 40 bucks good deal - hard to rationalize *more* spending.

TIA.
