P4T533 Sound Question

Kinda a noob question, so bear with me. I was wondering if the onboard audio on the ASUS PT4533 is decent as compared to say the SB Live! which I've had for two years (which works fine for my gaming and music purposes). Here's the thing, normally I'm not a big fan of onboard audio, but also I usually build lower end machines at work (and for friends/family). For my new machine I'm building it higher end than I'm used to, and so I figure since the ASUS PT4533 is supposed to be such a high end P4 board, does that mean that the integrated audio is fairly good as well? Keep in mind I'm not an audiophile freak, so I don't need the highest quality audio, I enjoy gaming and music and that's about all I need from my sound card.:frown:😕

Whoops...didn't see your thread while I was troubleshooting my audio on the P4B533. I believe they both use the same audio chipset. If so, you may experience some problems

Hmmm, thanks for the heads up. I'm actually not buying the board until next month, when Intel slashes the prices on their P4's. But from the looks of it, I'll have some troubleshooting to do.
