I am trying to find the answer to a slight problem I have with my P4T. I do not know where else to turn as ASUS can't answer the phone and email won't go through.
This is the first comp I built (about a year ago) and I have had no problems at all. About 3 weeks ago, it started to make a high pitch noise after shutdown (approx. 5 minutes). I get no error messages of any kind and the noise goes away as soon as I boot. It is coming from a little "speaker" next to the mobo power LED (see pic). Mobo
I installed the ASUS PC Probe software and all my temps are low. The only thing I can guess is the battery on the mobo is going bad ???
I am not that computer literate. Any help would be greatly welcomed.
