Ok, just received my P4S333 and installed P4 1.6a, 256mb Crucial 2700DDR, Radeon AIW, Maxtor ATA 133 40Gig and Pioneer 105S DVD. Here's the problem. Everything is recognized on the post screen and in the BIOS, but right after the post screen I get "Press a Key to Reboot" everytime. I have checked and rechecked all connections, reseated memory, cpu and video card, no change. Also, there are no error beeps. Any ideas? Is this thing DOA? Any comments are appreciated. Thanks!

Have you made certain that the CMOS jumper isn't set to 2-3 which is clear CMOS? Make certain in the bios that all of the settings are correct and manually adjust them if needed. Does the speech post reporter tell you that it's completed the POST test? does it make it to it saying the system is booting from the OS?

CMOS jumper is set to default 1-2, all BIOS settings are correct as far as I can tell from my experience with two other ASUS mb's. I am not getting any speech post reporter even though it is enabled in the BIOS.

my bad on the speach reporter, I don't think it works without your sound working and speakers hooked up as that's where the voice comes from on my P4S333 and I don't remember hearing it through the system speaker when I did the initial install. Anyways, Have you tried booting from your OS CD(don't forget to make it a boot option) or booting from a floppy disk?

check the harddrive or ide devices...I remember getting an error like that when I had my WD HDD jumpered to CS and it did not like it when I would unhook the slave drive....look at cables, jumpers, etc....mine was recognized as well .

Remove everything except CPU, Video card, ram keyboard, and floppy drive.. See if you can even boot with a boot disk....

If none of the suggestions thus far have helped then my next question is what PSU are you using? Other than that I'd say it's time to RMA.

I'm reinstalling W2K by using boot disks and it seems to be working so far. Keepong my fingers crossed.
BTW, my power supply is Antec PP-303x 300W
