1. i also have and all in wonder 9700 pro version xxx-xxxxx-10 and i have problem with the monitor.....it doesnt like to start up the first time i turn on the pc....but it will when i turn it off and turn it back on.

2. bios keeps telling me i failed to over clock when all the default settings are applied. to be more specific, it says: "failed to over-clock!! pres f1 to enter setup or press f2 to restore defaults and continue." keep in mind it tells me this even though it has default settings. everytime i start it up.....

3. pc doesnt restart, it'll shut down windows but will never restart. it just hangs with the monitor off. i believe this has to do with the 3d card also, but who knows.

any takers? help? etc.?

im not sure what your exact problem is, but you may want to go to www.asus.com, then click on "contact us" on the top left. You can file a case in the asushelpdesk which i have found is pretty useful. Plus you need to get a case number from the helpdesk before you can call tecksupport anyway.

good luck 🙂

Do you have the latest BIOS? What ram do you have, what slots you using and at what voltage? What cpu and fsb?

A quick thing to try is to increase your RAM voltage to 2.7v...but that may not be your problem, we need more info.

i have the latest bios, 1.009 beta, still had these problems with the other versions.

i have 512 kingston pc2100, and i have 256 of some kind which i dont know because it was given to me. i just got this stuff for free so i figured i'd use it for now.

im using the first slots on both 2 dimm sets....so the blue slots.

i have the voltage set to default since it's all i can have it set at, since it continually tells me im trying to overclock, though im not.

i have a p4 1.6ghz 400mhz fsb, this was also given to me.

i plan to do some upgrading, hence why i bought the mother board. but i need money for that, so until i can, i'll have to deal with this....
