P4C800 Deluxe RAM amount?

at the moment i am running a p4c 2.8GHz on the asus P4C800 Deluxe, with 1GB of ram (2x512 for dual ddr, 400MHz)
is it possable to have 2 Gigs of ram in dual ddr mode when runing at 400MHz?

Welcome to the forums! Yes, it is possible to have the configuration you're talking about. The only thing to keep in mind is if you're only using 2 of the slots you either have to occupy 1&3 or 2&4 to enable dual channel mode. If you have all 4 it will still be in DC mode though. I have this board and it is awesome!

how much ram do you have in you system?
right now i am running them in 1&2 but i want to get 2 more sticks and run 4x512 in dual ddr 400MHz

I have 1gb right now, 2x512 PC3200. If you are running them in slots 1&2 then you are not in dual channel mode. If you look at the RAM slots you'll notice that 1&3 are blue, 2&4 are black. If you put them in either of those pairs you will be running in dual channel mode.

my bad it is in 1&3 not 1&2

2GB of ram will be very nice to have, 512mb in every slot,:beer:
