I'm also running a P4 2.26Ghz CPU, 1 512 stick of corsair XMS 3200 memory aswell. I've currently got it clocked at 2.5Ghz comfortably (default voltage) with an Alpha heatsink fitted, M/B temp=22c CPU temp=32c at idle and have only seen it hit 40c max.

My question is with the memory, how far can I push it? I really am not sure about the memory ratios, please explain this to me 1:1, 4:3, 4:5. Settings are currently 1:1 2.5/3/3/6 2.65v I'll push these more when I find my CPU's sweet spot.

FSB/First number x Second number = memory speed
Your 1:1 ratio means if your fsb is at 133 the memory runs at 133mhz x 2 since it's ddr
133fsb with the 4:5 ratio will run the memory at 333mhz or 166 x 2
133/4=33.25 x 5=166.25 x 2 for DDR=332.5

so if my FSB is at 147 with a Mem ratio of 4:5 then my memory will be running at 367.5 is that correct???

So it looks like this would run comfortably at this speed right?

thanks for your help viper.

I think they use samsung chips on the corsair memory you got. So it should be a pretty good memory.
