P4B533-E, Can I run a single Maxtor ATA133 drive?

Can I run a single Maxtor ATA133 drive on IDE3 if I load the Promise drivers? Assuming IDE3&4 are Promise ATA133 controllers. Thanks, Kent

Maybe or just run at at ata-100. Won't be much of a difference.

Thanks. I've heard you can't run a single drive connected to the Promise, but that you have to run Raid when connected to the Promise controller.
