P4b266c AND PC100 SDRAM

Just got my Asus p4b266c and P41.6a cpu.

Don't have memory quite yet but wanted to run the system over the weekend. My old system has good Samsung pc-100 ECC SDRAM memory.

Anyone know if I can use this memory with this mobo to get by until DDR memory price drops?

Would it harm the pc-100 memory if I tried? thanks for any input.😀
 
DDR and SDram don't have the same pin numbers cause DDR is 184 and SDram is 168 so it won't even physically fit in the slots.
You have no choice but to buy DDR.
