P4 voltage wire trick

Actually I need more.

After wire-tricking, the Vcore went from 1.45-1.64. (Crap MB - Its in the Shuttle SS51)

I'd like the extra 0.05 to get to 2.520 stable

At the moment I have 2.500 very stable (139 * 18, 174DDR on a 4:5 ratio) 50C temp at full load

I want to see how far it'll go. At the moment I get lockups (BSODs) at 140 FSB when W2K tries to access the harddrive after loading ntfs.sys.

My ram is good for 200DDR at normal C2 settings and the harddrive can deal with the PCI speed.

The same thing happened at 2.4GHz before I upped the voltage
 
Yeah. Thats what I thought.

The tables in the links aren't too clear. It doesn't say what pin 4 should be connected to (pin 3, or pin 2?)

1.75 Vcore (via the 1.8V trick) isn't too mad is it?

I can always buy a new processor i suppose. I like the look of those 2.26ers anyway.

You should connect pin 1 with pin 2 and pin 4 with pin 5, leaving 3 untouched, to get 1.75. Easiest to do with U-wire trick. Just two separate U-s. Tried it and works well. I needed it also because my mobo (Abit BG7) gave only 1.66 actual from 1.7 mod. 1.75 mod gave me 1.71 actual. 1+2+4 would also work, but it's very difficult to get over 3 without touching it.
