What times do you people average on yur seti packets with the northwood's ??
Anyone run seti on an overclocke 2.5ghz+ monster ??
just curious as to what the speeds are

My 1.6a can't touch the 2.5Ghz range. I'm running it at 2143 and get about 3hr30min out of it. 🙂

My 1.8a @ 2340 averages 3 hour and 2 min per wu.

Are you guys using the stock HSF? Or something better, like the alpha?

My 1.6a @ 2.4 has been averaging 3:10 (stock HSF and default V) and my XP1800 @ 1733 (KooLance case) has been doing the same.

The fastest on the ars page is only a 2.2 northwood @ 2:58 ars Bench but thats a little dated. And i see after 7 months i finally made the page 🙂, it was a good time back then 🙂

P4 Northie 1.6a@2.2 getting ~3:30hrs, with VHARs ~2:42! 😀

Problem is, my XP 1900 (1.6@1.7) is getting the same times! :Q 😉 😛

tuffguy - I'm using the retail h/s fan but I removed the thermal pad and used artic silver II. Under load I'm running about 43°C.

Thanks. I ordered the alpha and vantec combo. It should get here a day after my retail 1.6A gets here, so I should be able to compare how well it overclocks with each.
