What times do you people average on yur seti packets with the northwood's ??
Anyone run seti on an overclocke 2.5ghz+ monster ??
just curious as to what the speeds are

My 1.6a can't touch the 2.5Ghz range. I'm running it at 2143 and get about 3hr30min out of it.

My 1.8a @ 2340 averages 3 hour and 2 min per wu.

Are you guys using the stock HSF? Or something better, like the alpha?

My 1.6a @ 2.4 has been averaging 3:10 (stock HSF and default V) and my XP1800 @ 1733 (KooLance case) has been doing the same.

The fastest on the ars page is only a 2.2 northwood @ 2:58 ars Bench but thats a little dated. And i see after 7 months i finally made the page , it was a good time back then

P4 Northie 1.6a@2.2 getting ~3:30hrs, with VHARs ~2:42!

Problem is, my XP 1900 (1.6@1.7) is getting the same times! :Q

tuffguy - I'm using the retail h/s fan but I removed the thermal pad and used artic silver II. Under load I'm running about 43°C.

Thanks. I ordered the alpha and vantec combo. It should get here a day after my retail 1.6A gets here, so I should be able to compare how well it overclocks with each.
