P4 or Xeon?

Hey folks, got a question that is giving me a headache. I have a user that manipulates and prints very large (36" wide) multi layered maps. She is using Mapinfo v6.5 (? latest) on a P3 933 with 128 Mb ram. When the map gets the least bit complicated, the little beast locks up! I have had several Mapinfo users say that the problem is the P3, get a P4 with 512k cache. I have another user using same software on a P4 (less complicated maps) with no problems at all. My main question is P4 or Xeon? I want to cure this problem once and for all, and money is a secondary concern. Anyone got any thoughts?

P4 512K should easily solve that problem. Worst case, if money is not an issue, I would get the P4 3.06 with HT. Same performance as the Xeon on a s478 motherboard.
