I'm new to the dual channel abilities with the P4 and just wanted some clarification.
I have the following:
P4 2.4 OC'ed to 2.8 (5:4 ratio; 374M and 234FSB), stock HSF
ASUS P4P800 deluxe MB
HyperX PC3500 (2X512) 1Gig
RAID 0 (using Intel) 2 X WD Raptors
2 fans inlet, 2 fans outlet (part of Lian Li Case 601)
Antec Truepower 480W
ATI-AIW 9800 video card
NEC 1300a DVD Burner
(yes, this is my home entertainment / multi-media system)
I can probably OC more as the current system is very stable (I ran Prime95 all night - no problems)
Highest recorded temp recorded using ASUS probe running prime95 52C (a bit too warm so no more OCing for now).
Since the system is running async and OC'ed, is the system still running in dual channel mode? If so, does that mean the dual channel frequency of the above OC'ed system is 749 vs 800? Thanks in advance for any info.
