P4 Dual Xeon Mobos...

I have a few P4 2.4 Xeon CPU.. now I need a mobo for it.. before u ask why I bought them... compaq made a mistake and made all my singles system dual.. so I'm in luck.. i know nothing about these besides they're the fastest pos in theory..

Thanks.. I spend a lot of time searching.. didn't really like the super micro due to the high prices.. and best was iwill dp400 so I'm gonna hold off.. maybe compaq accounting may realize they shove a extra processor in each ws and make me pay the difference or return the chips..

looks like the iwill is it.. around 480.. isn't bad... damn nice.. :)

Supermicro has the cheapest dual Xeon at the moment, the P4DCE+, goes for about $400 :)

damn.. price had change when I checked... thep 4dce is now around 389.. but that second processor is now going to be closer to the 3.5 drive cage on my case... might need to reinvest in a new case...

All have an 'open' motherboard area.

My favorite being the Genie, because of its cooled (92mm) 5 x 3.5" bay. The others only fit 2 or 3 3.5" drives.

The 120mm's are kinda nice too :)

damn the e7500 boards doesn't have agp.. i like to use ddr but guess i need to do rambus... oh crap
