Man. This thing really is bare bones. It basically is a motherboard (with lots of integrated components) and a case.

Very sweet case. I only wish that it takes regular 3.5" HD instead of the more expensive 2.5". I'll debate on whether to get it or not, since I'm looking into getting another XPC for kicks, might as well consider this one.

Since I was thinking about upgrading my laptop hard drive I might have to get this and throw my old one in it!

Believe this unit does not require a slot loading, slim-type optical drive. Any slim-type optical drive should work.

ZPCgx manufacturer's site found here.

HOT DEAL!

I'm just pissed that it's not based of of the ATI 9100 IGP that would be friggan sweet as all get out. Why do they insist on using such crappy chipsets for these things? This would make a great lan box for CS with the 9100's onboard graphics (DX8.1). And an OK one with the nforce2's onboard graphics (DX7).

still this is hot and I'm trying realy hard not to hop in on this one. Thanks again Joker

I pulled the trigger. It is on its way.
Seeking out the best place to grab a slim cdrw for this. If anyone has any ideas other than Ebay.....

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with mine yet, but I just gotta have it.

Ya no prob. I got a 2 gig p4 coming thanks to the for sale/trade forum. Still on the look out for a decent price on a slim cdrw and laptop hdd.
I think by the time it is all done, it will be a good setup, but a little bit pricey because of the drives required. They just don't have the insane deals on these laptop drives that you can find for regular sizes.
I plan on getting a usb2 or firewire external drive to complement this thing as needed.
I'll holler when it comes in and I get it running.

I jumped on this deal too I could'nt resist. I i popped in a p4m 2.2 had a little bit of trouble getting it past 100mhz fsb. I had to do the bsel1 pin mod on it now its running all smooth. Im currently using it as a mp3 server. I was running seti on it but it tends to heat up a little when its clocked at 2.2 ghz. Overall its a sexy ittle case. Its about the same size as a hardcover book or a Windows XP retail box.

I had to take the plunge too! It's a nice little box, but I'm still waiting for a couple of the innards(ram & dvd-rom/cdr). I put a 2.4 celeron in there since it's not going to be a powerhouse system with the other specs. I have a 40gig HD and I'm going to buy a 512meg stick of ram. I think it'll be a nice little system.
