Good lord, how in the world did they manage to get it to boot like that? Do they seriously make mobos with multipliers that high? I'd also like to know how long that thing can run stable, and what kind of benchmarks it can get. Also wonder what they could do with 2 7800gtx's severly OCd.

My Dell runs a 2.533Ghz P4 at 533FSB. Its multiplier is the same. CPU-Z

ROFL I was thinking the same thing. Next day, you will see pictures of a dead Japanese camera man due to a computer explosion.

Call me unimpressed. If they could do something with it besides a benchmark or two then I'd be impressed. I find usable overclocks interesting, not this 10 second wonder crap....

is this even real? I don't really think that's even possible...if it is, i wanna see some benchmarks in gaming, wonder if that still loses to AMD, lol

It looks like they had a program called SuperX running for a little bit. I imagine that its similiar to Prime95

funny to see all these AMD trolls trying to declare this overclock phony !!!

no surprise that prescott can reach such frequencies, it was designed for very high clock speeds !!!

if this was amd chip running 7ghz we would have all you idiots proclaiming this a major accomplishment ( then again amd chip never will hit 7ghz )

Fanboyism seems to be your speciality Dothan.

Im not a fan of tests like this. Its burning up a perfectly good processor for the sake of 2 seconds to get a screenshot.

What I find impressive is a stable overclock on rather reasonable consumer level cooling solutions covering air to vapochill.

Gee, can you be a little more derogatory? As a person of Japanese descent, I find you insulting.

Also, not impressed with a 2 second wonder. Give me a useable OC thats stable and repeatable at home, not in a lab.

I'd really like to see a video where they hit the power button, show the bios, then boot and run a bench, then i'll be impressed. As far as the "AMD procs couldn't make it to that speed", maybe not, but it'd still be interesting to see how fast they can get an athalon running.

18s PI time...that means it was stable for at least 18 seconds...

When my machine is unstable it wont run super PI at all...
