The Tuniq folks tested Prime95 using 1.60 Vcore! Yikes :Q
Is that too high?
The chip runs perfect at 4.06GHz everything stock including cooler with fan on low speed. At higher freq's things start deteriorating and vcore needs a lift. From what I'm told that is to stop. Not that 4.06 vs. 4.33 is that big of a deal it is not.
3.6 - 4.06 sounds like an impressive o/c until you look at things proportionately. For example, practically every 300A celery did 450 out of the box with a stock cooler and stock voltage. So that's like taking a 3G chip to 4.5! Lucky people got their 300A's to 504 which was uncanny especially if they didn't have to goose the voltage much higher. Those were the days.
