P4 3.0e overclock???

I'm currently running my P4 3.0e at 227fsb & 3.4GHz on a Asus P4C800-E Deluxe.

My idle temps are 47-50c with stock Intel Fan/Heatsink, and 52-60c under load.

Do you think these temps are normal?

Yes. I'm using a 2.8c running at 3.5, and my temps are about the same as yours. Water cooling is a viable solution, but I can't justify the cost, with cpus so cheap. It's a long term investment.

Yeah those temps are perfectly normal. If you're worried about it, or if you want to push for a higher OC, invest in a new HSF.
