Thanks for posting this. That was a great article. Those benchmarks are off the scale man! I wonder how stable that system was? I.E. could you run P95 for 24 hours on it? Anyway, it makes me think about how nice one of those Vapochill units are! I wonder how noisy they are?

Absolutly rediculas unless you got money comming out your A$$. What are you hoping to do, get an extra frame in Warcraft 3? Let me know about any programs you have that seem to have trouble with a 3.06 P4 and ATI 9700 PRO.

Hmm, one of their screenies has the bootup on a Asus P4PE, I though this was done on the GB board?

Some of us are enthusiasts and appreciate this sort of thing and others buy E*machines :D

I do agree that it is interesting in theory, but it just concerns me that somebody would dump so much $ into a system for almost no reason other than higher framerates in some benchmark. BTW an E*machine would probably last longer than this setup.

No doubt a lot of money in that system, but the key for me here is: It's not my money:D

PS-I'm sure they get the majority of that stuff from vendors at zero cost or close to it for review/advertisement purposes.

wow, this must be the fastest single cpu system in the world, hopefully it beats the 22k 3dmark record.

I know but im not concerned about them spending the money and doing it im concerned about the individuals that read the review and decide to buy it, afterall the reason for the vendors giving them things to test is to increase sales.

Well if they can afford to buy it let them, I love seeing stuff like that it provides usefull information for those that want to possibly build systems like that even if it is overkill. To me ANY system information shown that helps us as overclockers and computer lovers is a must have in the community because it makes us strive to learn more and challenges us in the rel world to see what we can also do. So to me its nothing but a great thing to see.

Are you concerned about people that buy a Porche to commute to work? A 4000 SQ/ft home overlooking the beach at Malibu? Myself, I'm just a little envious;)

A Porche will get you chicks, not to mention a sweet ride. I myself drive a Camaro, no Porche but bought for same reasons, I dont know about you but going 130mph down a 6 lane highway brings me much more of a rush than hitting 20K in 3D Mark.

The one I'm really waiting for is 4.77 ghz. Most of you should know the significance of that. ;)

He|| ja!!

I love this kind of stuff...It reminds me of when the 2Ghz Pentium4 first came out...some German site used liquid nitrogen to overclock it for 3.6 Ghz
