P4 2.ghz w/Factory HS Running 40c

Just Built P4 2.Ghz system using Factory HS/Fan....Bio's says 39C to 41C.....Sandra Says in Win XP 41c to 45c Load...
Do I need a AFTERMARKET FAN ????.... I have 2 fans in case ......

You are just fine at those temps and after market HS and Fans are not much better of an
offering than what came in the box!
And if so it would only be a couple degrees if that......

Did your HSF have the thermal tape or did you get the paste?
And 423 or 478 pin?

sif u need an aftermarket fan.

been watching a video in toms hardware.
saw the guy taking out the heatsink fan.
the system still works ahhaha.
well.
and i guess 40C is damm cool for a 2ghz processor.
so leave it alone would be good idea.

40C is just fine... What temps did you expect to see?

A aftermaket fan would drop your temps a bit but it would also make a lot more noise, keep the stock heatsink and fan if your not overclocking.

Thx everyone......i was thinking....out of the box 45 to 48c to 50+ at load....
