How are you doing, guys. I have a serious question here :)

I can buy 2.8 right now for $270 or 2.53 for $130 in about 4 weeks.
I want to o/c it a little with Rambus memory.
Which one should I get?

Please help, since I need to make decision qiockly, before that 2.8 is gone :)

buy the 2.8Ghz, since you can sell it even after the price cuts and break even. Besides, RAMBUS is far more sensitive to high fsb overclocks, so you'd want the chip with the higher multiplier, IMHO;).

Just my $0.02:).

Well... That's a thing... I can't sell this processor for 6 month,
since it's Intels direct reseller program that gives us that price.
You can't sell parts for 6 month if you bought it under
that program :) :) :)

I am just wondering if that price difference is justified or not :)

Well, I suppose that if you were insecure about your masculinity (the way I am;)) then you'd get the 2.8. If not, then waiting 4 weeks(!) for the 2.53 would be okay. Yeah, right:cool:.

and i guess they double keystone the price retail?

This prices are only effective for 1 item of same type per company.
In other words, if I buy it from their site right now, I pay $251 plus tax,
but if my company decides to buy them, it would be $472
