RAM @ 5:4 440MHz (2-5-3-2) HTD=Hyperthreading disabled. HTE=Hyperthreading enabled. Radeon 9800 Pro flashed to XT core/memory speed... ;)

EDIT: I used a single 36.7GB Raptor in testing... I recently had another one fly away to RMA land... :( All other specs are in my sig. Benchmarks were started with Hyperthreading disabled in the BIOS and the Raptor defragged with PerfectDisk. Hyperthreading was then enabled and the Raptor defragged. Same background programs running with the exception of F-Secure AV, which was unloaded before benchmarking....

That's alot of tests already. Can I ask for a UT2003 bench? I'm comparing my system to yours for some unexplainable reason. (they don't really compare...) I need to do get a new graphics card badly I think.

LOL! I am running comparisons on my rig against the Athlon 64 3400+ review benchmarks out there.... ;) I have already run the UT 2003 Demo benchmarks:

HTD:

1024x768: FB: 268 BM: 95
1280x960: FB: 216 BM: 94

HTE:

1024x768: FB: 264 BM: 94
1280x960: FB: 217 BM: 94

I will be doing others such as Serious Sam, HALO, Max Payne2, X2 Rolling Demo, etc.....

I got the same little reduction with the specviewperf as you did....

I got an 1.18 increase with cinbench in multiprocessor mode.....

Can you do an mp3 maker program....Besweet or Lame or even Mp3 maker platinum??? Mp3 maker platinum on my 3.5ghz only uses 77% I wonder if it is the same for you with 200mhz less in clock speed...

I have BeSweet, (Included in DVD2SVCD) but never used it to do MP3s.. I just DL'ed the latest BeSweet, and will check it out..... My benchmarking was kind of side-stepped today by a large lunch of BBQ'ed country ribs and ....:D

EDIT: Duvie What kind of test do you want to see? I DL'ed CDex (LAME) which looks easy enough to use.... Are you looking for total time with HT enabled/disabled, processor usage, etc?? You can tell I don't do much audio encoding.. :)

yes do HT on and off with that app...i have not tested it...Besweet actually wont give you any difference in the build I tested....2 apps of it simultaneous can though, so I good test is to rip a cd and do half the tracks on one and half on the other....

I mainly use besweet for the wav to AC3 encode for use in ifoedit and authoring DVDs.....

I believe all besweet is, is a front end loader for the different lame, azid, etc. encoders....
