1.)Move up 3-5mhz at a time using default vcore.
2.)Run a couple of benchmark tests with each increase. (ie: 3dMark, Sandra, etc)
3.)If you experience any problems during bench test (reboots, no complete, etc), increase the vcore by about 5%. This should give you added stability for that speed.
4.)After you have what you consider the maximum for the cpu, run Prime95 torture test for at least 3-5 hours. You complete that program and you can consider the system stable.
You should realize that there are other hdwe components that will effect the system overclock and stability, also.
I would strongly suggest that you do not increase the vcore above 1.70v or the memory above 1.80v and that if you have an agp/pci lock on your board that you set it to 66/33.
