So, what'd I miss? Oh cool, Thugs musta got a new video card from the sound of it....what? ATI?!! 😛
 
besides listening to mp3s and chatting here, i really havent had much of a chance to use it yet.
it feels just as fast as my 2.26b (which is a compliment concidering the 2.26b was @ 167fsb 334ddr)
my temps are pretty much the same if not better on the 2.0A.
its been too easy so far, not giving me much to really talk about 😉

the 2.0A is a nice deal if you can find them cheap.
a 1ghz 50% OC aint too shabby 😀

ofcourse you know we are just razzing you....I also hope you don't believe that nvidiot crap of just 3dmark scores...It is about eye candy like I said....If you can run at res you like with the settings you like no problem that is the real key....

BTW, the ATI R350 should be out before then. My last two cards hve been nV. They have A LOT of catching up to do to get to where ATi is.

Glad I found the ATI vs. GF thread. I knew I had lost it... 😉 Just kidding. I was VERY reluctant to go from my GF4 Ti4400 to the 9700 pro, but I would ahve to say I am glad I did. I had a bad experience with ATI not too long ago, so I hesitated to go back. But they seem to ahve gotten their act together. I would buy whatever was the best buy at the moment. Both are good in my opinion. Now, wouldn't I may a good politicion...

Now, back to our regularly scheduled Thugs overclock Thread...
