p3v4x PIII 600 how much did u overclock?????

  • PIII 600 cA2 solid at 864Mhz @ 1.70v with Crucial 2 X 128 PC133 2-2-2-5 by SPD
  • Temps 29-37C with PEP66 on IWill Slocket - ASUS P3V4X. Can't get it above 144Mhz bus even with higher vcore, probably due the my ATI AIW128 video card.
    • Will be going for 1Ghz Tuesday when my PIII 700e arrives. Then must part with my 600e.

Are you sure its not your clock generator that is limiting you to 144 FSB? ,many poeple have fitted hsf to the clock generator which has allowed them to reach 150+.

I have got my old 600E in my sons PC with the CUSL2 motherboard to work great at 888mhz with 1.85 volt it flakes right out after that. I had the same chip in a P3V4X and it would run up to 854 at the same voltage but not till I put a heatsink on the clock generator.
