P3V4X and Aureal Superquad problem...

I have a P3V4X (winbond clock generator) and an Aureal Superquad. I installed the superquad, and now my computer goes into a hard lock when windows is finishing loading. Anyone have any ideas? I tried reinstalling and everything else I could think of, but no luck. Thanks...

You don't state what OS you are using. I have read that some have problems with the latest Aureal drivers. I use ver2035 which is 2 generations old, but it works great so why change.

Before you install the Aureal drivers, is any hardware using IRQ5? If you're using Win98, did you try booting in Safe Mode?
