Hello. I had my cpu overclocked to 3.00 ghz from 2.66 Today I tried playing Mame and I pressed escape to quit the game or something and my screen went black and said no signal. I reset and shutdown my computer a bunch of times and it kept saying no signal. Finally it somehow started to display an image when I turned on my computer. Might have been plugging in a usb keyboard. But after it turned on it had my cpu clocked at 3.0 ghz. I went into the bios and changed it back to 3.0 ghz by changing the fsb to 378 with 8x multiplier but after I saved and exit when it turns on it just sticks to 2.66. What's going on? Why is it refusing to overclock now?

I think the motherboard has a fail safe thing that restores your cpu to the default if an overclock fails. Maybe you need to reset the bios and start from scratch.
