OK, a quick one. Is it possible that a P3-550 non-coppermine have a stepping of '3' as retold by the system control panel?

Yes....a Katmai 0673 kC0 stepping does exist, but not a P3-667.

A Coppermine is denoted as 0683 cB0, or the older 0681 cA2 stepping.
