P3 933 VS 1GHZ

Hi, I'm looking at the Pentium III. Theres about $30 difference between the two. Is it worth the extra money or will I be able to tell a difference?
Is one any better than the other?

Also, any recommendations on a 32MB video card. Don't need DVD or TV hookup, just good 3D&2D.

You won't be able to tell the difference in speed between a 933 and a 1GHz processor. It's a mental thing, going over the 1GHz barrier. As a percentage of what you will spend in total, $30 is not that big a difference. You might want the 1GHz simply for "bragging rights"...although that type of speed is no longer really worth bragging about.

If you were really conscious about the money you spend, I'm sure there are plenty of people here who will recommend you buy an AMD Athlon Thunderbird instead. I'll leave you to make your own decision.

Depending on how much you spend, will determine what video card to get. Any of the 32MB GeForce 2 MX cards should fit the requirements, as would a Radeon LE or something.

go for 1G, $30 is not a big number when you're buying an over $200 cpu.
and "1G" sounds better than "xxxM".
