Hmmmm, a "new" user with an incredible deal with no reserve and a huge quantity. Smells like a scam to me...I wouldn't touch it...

This guy is a new user who has 148 items listed for sale!!! My guess is that someone is going for a long tropical vacation to a place where there is no extradition, or they changed user names to dump bad feedback. Major caution....

hmm, for some odd reason I have the same feeling that this guy had this all planned out too and I don't know why but I'm pissed off... All these items are big expensive electronics, and if he is not in fact legit he will be getting away w/ 10s of thousands of dollars... I want to see this guy burn, anyone else?

Uh. that's a Pentium 3 800mhz Slot A CPU. I don't even think they make those anymore. Aren't the new pentium chips the size of a amd thunderbird? Nice and small and square?
I think that's why it's so cheap. I wouldn't bid on it anyway just cuz it's yahoo auctions. They don't protect you for anything. It's totally free and they state that their auction is merely a advertising place for people to sell and buy items and they are in no way held accountable for anything.

This guy has literally a million dollars of stuff advertised on Yahoo. Anyone who doesn't think this is a scam is very naive. In fact, please send me $1000 for my book on how to get all electronics for free!!!

Yahooo might like an email about this guy...

next time don't post any deal that has anything to do with auction.
And don't worry, contrary to popular belief anandtechers are still pretty forgiving to new members

Yahoo now does offer some protection.

Yahoo Protection

Some of the auctions actually have reserves on them which makes it a little less fishy. Normally you don't care if you get street value if you just plan on running off with the dough. But, yes, if you as a seller have tons of stuff to dump, it's wise to build a reputation first. Always be suspicious of new users with gobs of stuff to sell. Verified with Paypal would be nice, too.

If you do bid, good rule is to be the last person to send their money. It will be fun to watch this guys feedback over the next couple days.

Definitely a scam: He has a large number of auctions with no original pictures or descriptions and on most of them the prices are driven up by user mr_xoxoxo.
Someone let yahoo know....
