Been away for sometime and a little out of touch. Just tried to use Kazaa and downloaded the 2.5 version. I sure dont like this version. What are you all useing these days?

Check out Bit Torrent. It's kind of like Kazaa, but files don't need to be completed in order to download from someone.
It's also pretty fast as well.

aren;t they arestin people for usin kazaa now??
No, they are not arresting people for using Kazaa yet. They are talking about going after the users whom are using P2P software and downloading music via the internet. If I understand what I read, they are going after the people not the companies running the websites. I am not quite sure how they are going to be doing this or how they will decide who to prosecute. I also do not see a difference between d/l off the internet and recording a song from the radio but I guess the recording artists do see a difference.

I use Kazaa Lite & WinMX. I can get practically anything i want off these two alone.
Ive tryed other P2P software but didnt like them.
Ive tryed;
Bittorent, but to get decent speeds you need to have DLed alot of stuff off it, so a couple of weeks of hard downloading is required to get decent speeds.
Overnet, just plain rubbish.
eMule, not keen.

A little bird told me that emule works great for finding full albums in RAR format, or losslessly compressed CDs, but of course I have no experience with this personally. 😉
