P2P filesharing for Linux

I use Limewire on linux... there is a better version that you pay for but I'm not sure the differences. Limewire is adequate at best (based on the gnutella network). I can find some mp3s that I'm looking for and lots of porn is available but I'd much rather use Morpheus. There used to be a morpheus linux version but I'm not sure how that came to dissolve. On a side note, newsgroups or irc can pretty much lend itself to whatever you may be searching for.

Morpheus is now based on Gnutella as well (they switched from Fastrack quite a while back). Hence it will yield about the same things as Limewire or any other Gnutella client. Edonkey is a bit of a hassle on the Linux platform but it does work. Kazza is/was available for Linux, but I never could get it to work. AFAIK, your best bet on Linux is the Gnutella network (as much as it sucks). Hopefully we'll get a better scaling P2P technology soon (open source so that we get clients on all platforms).

I use lopster or gnapster and cruise around some italian opennap networks, works awesome 🙂 Just like the old days with napster.
