P180 setup

Hi, as many of you know from my previous post my P180 did not come with a lower chamber. So i have to mount 2 hd's on my upper chamber instead. Does this greatly reduce the preformance of the front upper chamber case fan? And will my computer still get enough airflow? I placed my two rear fans as outtakes since i didn't want that air colliding with my XP-120. Also, does the top spoiler thingamajig help filter a lot of dust? Mine didn't come with that either.

hmm.. i wonder if anyone would be willing to sell their lower chamber. Sending it back to zipzoomfly seems like a pain in the butt though, i might do it i guess.

Try calling Antec, they might send it to you.

The whole point of the lower chamber is to use it as a wind tunnel and isolate it thermally from the heat of the processor to cool your hdds better. If you're moving the hdds tot he upper chamber, make sure you have a fan in front of at least. The two rear fans should be outtakes because there isn't a dust grill. The front is supposed to be intake because there are dust grills. The top spoiler thingy doesn't do anything much really, it just looks kinda weird without one.

yeah i tried emailng antec and they said they didn't have the part.

didnt have the part? what the...... antec should be able to replace any part. Or email/call the place you bought it from and exchange it.
