To anyone using this combo: will the Powerstream ATX12v/EPS cables reach on either of these MB's without extensions? Under the MB?

You talking about the P4 (4 pin) power cable? I have a Powerstream 520 with an MSI K8N Neo4 with the P4 connection at the top left of the mobo (top left of CPU socket) and mine wouldn't fit going under mobo. It was actually a stretch going under 7800GT and across the board to make it. The ATX was no problem. My connection is on the right side about 3/4 of the way up the board.

Sorry. Looked at your rig and saw the seasonic. Did you run either under the MB?

Yeah, except the DFI Expert is an 8-pin EPS connector instead of the 4-pin P4 AUX. Expert Main power connector is on the right edge, about 3/4ths of the way up, with the 8-pin just behind it.

The ATX will reach fine. YOu may have to snake the EPS cable under the video card or something, i didn't use that.

If the 8 pin EPS cable is just as long as the ATX cable then it shouldn't be a problem. You can probably snake the cable around the video card, if it's a big card.

How could you not use it? Your board still has a 4-pin P4 Aux, right? The 8-pin is just 2 of the 4-pin connectors together. Where is the 4 pin connector on the SLI-DR board?

My old AXP board did not have the 4 pin auxilliary. Probably one of the A7N8X-E Deluxe's many flaws. But overall it was a nice board and served me will. The ATX connector on that board is in the same place as it is on my current board (which is the board you are referencing).
