If the cables aren't long enough, you can get extensions...
24 pin 12" extension
8 pin 12" extension
PCIe 12" extension
ATX 6-pin 6" extension

I think the cables should be at LEAST 18" long. Most reputable PSU companies do make their cables that long, Seasonic and OCZ being the only ones I have heard of that are "too short".
If you wanna stay safe, just get an Antec PSU
And btw...the X-Connect is one of the worst PSUs you can get, from what I hear.

You will need them in your case because ocz psus have really short cables. Go with any antec and extensions are not your friend. They have been known to cause major power issues...Its like modular is not as reliable...

My OCZ 520W cables are mostly 19" except for the 20pin and I still needed more, this is... if you want your system looking good.
