Yea, but white people are really going to start a new clean and crime free Las Vegas.I've heard it reported that Las Vegas tourism is declining because there are fewer foreign tourists, due to fear of ICE.

I'm no fan of ICE or denying people due process, but America's Dubai can dry up and blow away for all I care. I DGAF what happens to gamblers.
That water could be going to people and crops, instead of golf courses and pools that are hardly used.
From what locals and visitors are saying, it's a bunch of factors killing Vegas. But most all of them come down to it being so expensive now. Many complain of resort fees. How expensive food and drinks are. Terrible service combined with tip begging. Other cite they can gamble in their home state for much less, so no incentive without the free shows, cheap buffets and drinks, comps, etc.
This is what I've been reading/seeing as well. While people want to jump on tariffs etc... the real issue is the cost has gotten prohibitive as they shift towards more family styled entertainment. It's not what it used to be and much harder to justify the price. From what locals and visitors are saying, it's a bunch of factors killing Vegas. I was watching a dude's channel that has been reporting on the issues there since the pandemic, and some dude/wastoid was rubbing one out walking down the sidewalk with families going by. Part of the drug and homeless problem plaguing the city.
The consensus is that corpos are to blame.
Steve Wynn and Sheldon Adelson can eat a bag of dicks for all I care. This is what I've been reading/seeing as well. This guy’s a fucking clown. I’m getting major Michael Avenatti vibes from him. He’s less about taking on Trump and MAGA and way more about self promotion.
Does it matter at this point? This guy’s a fucking clown. I’m getting major Michael Avenatti vibes from him. He’s less about taking on Trump and MAGA and way more about self promotion.
It's fun as long as you are spending what you really can afford.Oh, I don't know. Not at all a fan of gambling per se (as far as psychological dysfunctions go, I'm well aware that I'm more of a hoarder than a risk-taker), but I spent a few days in Las Vegas once (spent about $50 total, including food and carefully-spread-out gambling) and found it a fun experience. Queuing up to buy tokens with my grubby $10, behind someone cashing a $10k cheque. Felt very democratic - they'll take your money whether you're a cheapskate backpacker (grabbing every special offer of 'free tokens' that was available and eking out spending money as sparingly as possible) or a high-roller.
And quite a lot to just gawp at (including plenty of astonishing tackiness that falls into the so-bad-it's-good category), even without participating. Wouldn't have wanted to spend more than that few days there, though, but can't say I didn't enjoy it.
