I'm just waiting to hear it was started by arson. I know those wildfires start by other means as well, but this was an odd time of year for a major fire like this, no?

"Arr Mussiuh wun! I'ma go burn down one-a dem liberal bashtun sanksha-ary cities!" - some rural redneck, probably

I saw a story that this fire MIGHT have been from the remnants of a fire believed to have been started by fireworks.

And another place in/near Eaton that started from a power line, according to several witnesses.

Oh look. JFK Jr. style Alt-med/woo (and ironically anti-vax) propaganda. Designed to sow distrust in evidence/science based medicine and lure people to snake oil salesmen who, without a hint of irony, do exactly what the meme says.

Let's just forget 16 childhood diseases eradicated along with Hep-A/B and HPV/Cervical cancer...

These vaccines alone have saved billions of lives and prevented billions more chronic diseases.

Oh, and the millions of bacterial diseases cured daily. Oh, wait, we also gotta forget the groundbreaking new cure for Hep-C.

These are the same groups of misinformation conmen who want you to believe doctors rather prescribe you a pill than advise you alter your diet and exercise. (Hint, they do recommend diet and exercise first, that is the standard of care). It's the fucking snake oil salesmen who want to sell you shit. That's why they make memes like this and 90% of their content is NOT about their own products or services, but anti-science based medicine propaganda designed to sow distrust in REAL evidence/science based medicine.

Get off social media. It's rotting what's left of your fucking brain.

I think you misunderstood what I was going for..

Not anti medical science/ doctors, but anti bean counters who don't approve the correct medication and instead keep you on more "economical stuff" so they make huge profits.

That's not happening. The standard of care in science based medicine still exists. Insurance denials and fuckery are not the fault of modern science based medicine nor medical doctors at large.

Your meme was created as propaganda by snake oil salesmen. It literally slanders doctors and the education they receive along with science based medicine itself and does nothing to address insurance industry fuckery.

What's more, it doesn't even really address the insurance industry fuckery either.

They literally pay doctors to vaccinate so as to minimize payouts. If ANYONE was interested in cures and prevention over expensive lifelong treatments, it would be the insurance industry bean counters.

That leaves one suspect, the pharma industry. And again, you'd have to ignore ALL the diseases eradicated and cured daily by that same industry.

Nope, that meme is pure shit designed to lure people to snake oil salesmen who do the very thing the meme accuses real doctors of doing.

While what you say my be true…if a disease is eradicated, that cuts off the research funding tap…look at all the billions of $$$ spent on medical research into cures for shit like cancer, COVID, even the common cold…yet with very few exceptions for things that anti-virals actually work on, we still can’t “cure” viral caused illness…we can only treat the symptoms.
