Nah...IF I decided not to vote for Kamala...and so far, even though I'm NOT one of her fans, I'm still planning to vote for her...I'd NEVER vote for Trump...and a vote for a 3rd party candidate would basically be a vote for Trump.

But, gawd-dammit...don't tailor your style of speaking for each audience...be real.

It does happen with some people. I guess it's just a habit they fall into, or maybe it's deeper than that.

I can't be bothered watching clips to 'research' it myself with regard to Harris (really can't see it as an important issue, I mean, who cares?), but perhaps she's just one of those people? Being both mixed-race and a visible minority might contribute to acquiring that habit. Could it be related to code switching ?

I grew up on the margins of the south and I went to tech school in Atlanta. Boy, did my southern accent come out. Then, I moved to ChicaagO where people haav to haav something and I picked that one up right away. Then I moved.....
