That second one is a particularly laughable bit of cherry-picking/whistling-in-the-dark (making a big deal out of the fact that one of the most recent polls puts the Tories "only" 21% behind, compared to 25% in an earlier one), given that the polls have been wobbling up and down by a few percentage points for nearly two years now, but the Tories remain about 20-30% behind.

I mean, how to reconcile the Telegraph's interpretation
