Need more details. Was she in first class ahead of time? Did she tweet this and then get a first class seat?

Edit: Read a quick article, seems like she may have gotten a seat after this tweet (not that I'm implying causality, just timing). Sounds like your "meme" may have jumped the gun.. If true, I'm not sure it would matter to the typically easily triggered lot.

Triggered? lol I'm just laughing at an entitled brat that gets first class seats on public transportation - then bitches about it.

It's just your typical morons in life - proclaiming that things like public transportation are the only ways we can get fight climate change - then when you get a little uncomfortable (as you inevitably will when mass people are no longer driving and taking the mass transit as you proclaim we should) you quickly fold like a house of cards.

But like, in reality, what you just said may very likely be 100% wrong. It sounds like she may very well have bitched, and THEN gotten the seat (again, I'm not implying causality). If that turns out to be true, shall I assume you will admit you were wrong or would you prefer to keep your MO intact?

And if, in fact, you were wrong I think "triggered" would sum it up nicely.

Who knew German railways were such snowflakes?

Talk about trying to make a mountain out of a molehill. Get a grip.

Public transportation is absolutely an important part of addressing climate change. And I don't know about German railways, but UK ones are obscenely overcrowded and unreliable, because they are used as cash cows to extract maximum profits for foreign companies (including Deutsche Bahn! Quite ironic that our rail and utilities are mostly state-owned, just by foreign states), while motoring is subsidised.

Doesn't even matter if they are wrong. Even if the order of events is not as you suggest, this tweet remains a ridiculously trivial thing to get try and make an issue of. Talk about clutching at straws.

Admittedly the whole Greta story is weirdly trivial, but we live in celeb-fixated times, and whatever gets people to actually pay attention to climate change can't be a bad thing.
