God, don't get me started. Recently Nissan were making noises about the UK being a potentially poor option for manufacture post Brexit, then suddenly they changed their minds and said that the government gave them sufficient reason to keep the plant in Sunderland. Then comes the valid question of "why the change of heart?" (e.g. has the government thrown Nissan a very large bone because sudden and massive job losses due to Brexit plans would be very politically damaging), then loads of Brexiteers come out of the woodwork, including tory MPs, saying things like, "urgh! some people are always griping! can't you just accept conveniently positive news without questioning it?".
I'm absolutely certain that if (very likely when) brexit starts going sour, brexiteers will be out in force to point the blame at anything other than the fact that they were well and truly scammed and those responsible for the scam. Or of course there's always the possibility that the EU will muss the UK's hair and say, "no, we don't mind you breaking off your membership with us, it's only worth £4bn a year, we'll give you everything you want from us without any advantages for us, while our paying members get a worse deal than you do!"...
