Romney saw it coming. Other "Big Stick" politicians saw it coming. I saw it coming. Now, the Cold War is very much resumed, hence, the artificially low gas prices ruining Russia's economy and incentive
right now. THAT'S "Cold War," as inconvenient as that may be for Obama to admit.
Also, you say "2014" as if it took a long time for him to be proved right. If Romney won the 2012 election his presidency would have started in 2013. Obviously, the question was about what would be relevant during the next term. 2014 was only one year into the next term. Sounds pretty prescient.
Bush, as terrible as he was at foreign policy, admitted when he was wrong about the troop surge and his plans in Iraq. Obama can't even acknowledge that he was wrong to dismiss ISIS as "JV team" (Junior Varsity) in comparison to Al Qaeda. Of course he will not acknowledge that he was wrong to ridicule about Russia. He'd rather make good on his promises of "flexibility" with Russia "after the election" on issues related to missile defense.
He needs to admit that he was wrong about both Russia and ISIS if he wants to have any more credibility.
