Trying to figure out what, if any of this is relevant to his amusing comment. I do love the "works as a consultant for any company who pays him" though, as if that's somehow an damning statement to make (for the record, I'll seriously consider any proposal to pay me 200k EUR/UKP/USD annually). Also, surely if he is an extreme example of EU corruption then that corruption would not be "hidden"? Or was your comment a euphemism for "I want to believe he's corrupt but I don't have any evidence so I'll say "hidden corruption"?
