Start at 4.00. If you don't understand the intentions of "gun control advocates" as this guy does, you're the gullible one. I'm tempted to say that nobody can be that stupid but your words, they're right here.

This is not evidence. This is classic "slippery slope" scaremongering -- notice how he cherry picks a couple of anecdotal, out-of-context remarks at one point, but makes broad, sweeping statements about intentions that are wholly unsupported?

You're purposefully misinterpreting my point. The key is that most gun control advocates are not calling for a total ban on guns, despite your wet dream fantasies. And even if they were, the typical Republican response -- that is, to freak out at even the slightest hint of responsible gun control -- is both immature and frequently the reflection of NRA bribery.

Google search results for "NRA Membership".

Thanks CNN!

Uh huh. How much of that are people searching for membership lists so they can boycott them?

That in no way shows people joining the NRA. That shows people searching for NRA members and/or membership and/or membership lists.

Secondly, the interest doubled from zero. So no idea what that is. It could be 2.

Numbers represent search interest relative to the highest point on the chart for the given region and time. A value of 100 is the peak popularity for the term. A value of 50 means that the term is half as popular. A score of 0 means there was not enough data for this term.

NRA membership numbers & lists are confidential. The best guess is somewhere around 5M members.
