Pulling Trump up on not fulfilling campaign promises is as pointless as correcting spelling and grammar when his concept of 'the swamp' revolves around a baseless conspiracy ("the deep state")... the fact that the President of the US talks about conspiracy theories as if they're factual is what ought to be scaring people. Frankly at this point I'd only express surprise if he started telling us that the deep state is actually a monster that lives beneath his bed, and the reason why he's up at silly o'clock is because he's terrified of sleeping and wiles away the hours by the light of his phone.
