Some were unable to get the nursing home shuttle to bring them. Some were playing golf like their hero. Others were at one of the 14 doctor's appointments they have every month. The rest were posting RT memes on FB.

He was walking up to the stage in the picture I posted. I see the same emptiness in those photos that I see in the picture I posted. A lot of what looks like people are the trump red white and blue signs placed in seats.

Nearly all of those 40 shots are of the person at the podium or the crowd right around it. Photos 8, 20, 26 and 28 show some pretty empty sections. From the original photo posted it's pretty clear they expected far less than a full house and set up the curtains to "shrink" the house.
Reminds me of a professional soccer game I went to once that was being televised. They made the entire crowd sit only on one side of the stadium so it looked full. Unfortunately we paying customers ended up staring into the sun for the whole game.
