One of the offices in the leveled seven-story Zourab building belonged to the Hamas-run interior ministry, AP reports.

A spokeswoman for the Israeli military said the building was being used as a command center by Hamas militants.

Israeli media say the Hamas apartment was on the fourth floor of the high-rise building and the IDF would in the past have carried out a pinpoint strike targeting that particular apartment, while leaving the building standing.

The tactics have changed, reflected in the leaflets the IDF distributed over Gaza warning Palestinians their houses could be targeted, if they are used by Hamas.

Hasn't Ukraine/Old Lithuania pretty much been someone's subjugate since there's been humans in that area... Not saying it's acceptable just a terrible birthright to be stuck at the outskirts of the mongols and then between Poland and the Golden Horde and then between Poland and Russia and then between Germany and Russia and now EU and Russia; There's always some sort of strangle hold on them 🙁

That's not untrue, but do you remember what the public mood was like at the time of the invasion, or how the Dixie Chicks got destroyed over commenting on it and Bush? We got what many of us asked for.
